it is not the outside surface but the inside surface explores the body as a semi-permeable membrane and a space through which the materials of the landscape enter and the materials of the body exit. It is a frenetic, visceral exploration of skin, spit, mud, water and concrete shot instinctively in the estuary landscape of my childhood. The camera moves inside and outside of the body in a collage of digital video, stop motion and cut-up recorded sound that slips in and out of sync.
